About Frances Worthington
From the Desert Flower Ministries website:
Frances Worthington knows what it is like to be on the roller coaster of life. She grew up in the church and came to a relationship with Jesus Christ at 7 years old in the basement of a rural Alabama church and has never doubted His love for her. Through school and into college Frances was a leader in campus ministries, participated in mission trips all over the United States, and even married a minister.
But, in spite of all of this training, she became an addict... a spiritual high addict. She lived from Bible study to Bible study, conference to conference, and Sunday to Sunday. Yet, when the studies were over, the conference ended, and Monday morning came along, she didn't know how to thrive in this life. She merely survived.
At one of the many conferences she attended, God spoke to her and she knew that He was calling her to a daily life of consistency and commitment. From that moment, Frances dove deep into God's Word and found the Bread of Life. She began to learn what it was like to be "satisfied as with the riches of food" Ps. 63:5.
As she began to thrive and not merely survive in this life, God's call became clear for her to strengthen her sisters in the faith and be an exciting example to those who do not know Jesus Christ's love. She founded Desert Flower Ministries and is the author of Satisfy Our Souls: A cry from the desert. Through all she does, her desire is to equip women of all ages to thrive in their deserts.

Speaker: Diane VereenDiane will be speaking and sharing her powerful testimony.
From Diane: "I committed my life to Christ in 1971. He gave me a hunger to know Him and to study His Word. I was introduced to Precept Ministries in 1975 and learned how to study the Word of God through this ministry.
I believe my calling from God is to teach and equip believers in the body of Christ to know truth for themselves in order that they may learn to apply Biblical truths to practical living.
I believe that the Lord has graciously given me a platform of ministry that was certainly not of my own choosing. I have lived the truths of the Word of God through many trials, but the most challenging one was the death of my 23 year old son. God has been faithful to give us His grace and strength to walk through many other fiery trials in our lives and has opened numerous doors of opportunity in the United States and internationally for us to share His faithfulness.
My husband, a former pastor, and I have been on Staff with Precept Ministries for over 22 years and for the majority of that time I have travelled internationally with my husband teaching and equipping leaders and also speaking in numerous countries (Examples: Germany, Israel, Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, Canada, Singapore, Philippines, Guam, India, South Africa) I am also responsible for organization of the Women’s Conferences at Precept Ministries where I am one of the seminar leaders and one of the speakers with Kay Arthur and other staff teachers."
